Gunner Fan V2.0
What is it?
The V2.0 fan is a rebuild of an existing Gunner product. The V1 was widely beloved by the community but was executed hastily and had lots of opportunity for improvement.
The Ask
Implement feedback from the customer base and improve upon a widely beloved but flawed product. Improve battery life, air flow, and the charging experience.
The Build
My team and I redesigned the enclosure to afford an optimized battery and charging circuit. Our alterations also increased airflow and efficiency. We tested and specified new electrical components to hone the user experience in both use and charging. We streamlined production and assembly by communicating with vendors for our client.

Outcome
The product saw a successful launch with a list of enhanced features. Since then, the fan has been regarded in the “Dogs with Jobs” community as an essential upgrade to increase the comfort and performance of working dogs, especially in hot climates. The adjustments to performance and user experience have driven continuous new sales as well as upgrades.
